Information we collect

Depending on how you use AWA, we may collect:

• Alert preferences — regions or locations you save for premium alerts

• Cookies and similar technologies — used for site function, analytics, and advertising as described below

Email subscriptions

Subscription records may include your email address, confirmation status, consent date, and unsubscribe status. You may unsubscribe from every email. Subscriber data is not sold or added to unrelated marketing lists.

Reader accounts and comments

If you create an account, we store your email address, display name, account role, and authentication records. Comments and replies are publicly associated with your display name. Administrative users may remove comments that violate community or safety standards.
